Your St Ives, Your Say

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority has set up a website which maps out the options to deal with the congestion in St Ives so visitors can compare the benefits and choose the solution they prefer. It isn’t the formal statutory public consultation demanded by law – that comes much later when a decision on the project has already been made – but a way of canvassing early views about what people want.Their purpose is to give individuals and organisations a direct way of telling the project team what they think, of shaping the road improvement scheme from its earliest stage. No decision has yet been made, so the more people who show a preference, and their reasoning for it, the better informed the Combined Authority and its partners will be in deciding the way forward.

This an early chance to influence and shape the plans before any decision on the final scheme is made. So please browse through the options and let us know which you prefer. The public engagement closes on 5th July at 5pm. If you would like a brochure, please call 0800 054 1163.
