Chicken in the Wood

We wish to inform everyone that our large oak tree near the entrance to Monach Farm is currently showing signs of a fungal infection known as “chicken in the wood.” This infection can lead to large branches falling unexpectedly, posing a significant safety risk.

For your protection, we have fenced off the area around the tree. We kindly ask that you do not cross the fencing under any circumstances until the tree has been inspected and assessed by an expert.
