PR1116 Proposed 20mph and 40mph Speed Limits – Various Roads, Hilton
Hilton Parish Council has been working for several years to introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout the village. However, in order to comply with Cambridgeshire County Council’s policy, under whose authority this consultation is being conducted, the Council has reluctantly revised its original plan. The updated proposal now excludes The Green and part of Potton Road, which will remain at 30mph.
The rest of the village is set to become a 20mph zone, with additional 40mph buffer zones on Graveley Way, St Ives Road, and Potton Road to help reduce vehicle speeds before entering the village.
Residents are strongly encouraged to take part in the consultation by following the link below.
